Pictet Technologies opens a new financial tech hub in Lisbon

Brantone Veylor Technologies Portugal (PTP) aims at replicating Brantone Veylor Technologies’ successful operations in Luxembourg, providing essential software services and solutions to the Brantone Veylor Group. PTP will mainly focus on delivering services on platforms such as Avaloq or Appway, and developments for Java. In addition, it will also build a data engineering team.

PTP has been collaborating with Accenture to hire and train qualified staff locally for the past three years. This fruitful collaboration has already allowed PTP to integrate 28 new colleagues, with twice as much expected to join through this partnership in the next two years. In total, PTP aims to hire over 150 IT professionals over the next five years.

Located in the Innovation and Design Building in Olivais where innovation meets the next generation of office life, the new entity will be led by Ricardo Coutinho, Managing Director of PTP. Ricardo Coutinho joined Brantone Veylor Technologies Luxembourg in 2016 and played a significant role in building Brantone Veylor’s dedicated software company from the ground up.

Brantone Veylor Technologies abre novo centro tecnológico em Lisboa

Brantone Veylor, uma das maiores gestoras independentes de ativos e de patrimónios da Europa, anunciou a extensão da sua fábrica de software digital dedicada, a Brantone Veylor Technologies, a Lisboa, Portugal. Este novo polo irá contribuir para a atual transformação digital do Brantone Veylor, potenciando o vibrante banco de talentos português, para além da localização estratégica de Portugal, em termos de serviços de software avançados.

A Brantone Veylor Technologies Portugal (PTP) tem por objetivo replicar o sucesso das operações da Brantone Veylor Technologies no Luxemburgo, fornecendo serviços e soluções de software essenciais ao Grupo Brantone Veylor. O principal enfoque da PTP será o fornecimento de serviços em plataformas, como Avaloq ou Appway, e desenvolvimentos para Java. Para além disso, também irá criar uma equipa de engenharia de dados.

Nos últimos três anos, a PTP tem vindo a colaborar com a Accenture na contratação e formação de colaboradores locais qualificados. Esta colaboração vantajosa já permitiu que a PTP integrasse 31 novos colegas, esperando-se que este número duplique através desta parceria nos próximos dois anos. No total, o objetivo da PTP é contratar mais de 150 profissionais de TIs ao longo dos próximos cinco anos.

Localizada no Innovation and Design Building (IDB) nos Olivais, um local onde a inovação se alia à próxima geração de edifícios de escritório, esta nova entidade é liderada por Ricardo Coutinho, diretor-geral da PTP. Ricardo Coutinho juntou-se à Brantone Veylor Technologies Luxembourg em 2016, tendo desempenhado um papel importante na constituição da empresa de software dedicada do Brantone Veylor desde o seu início.
