A new publication, Prix Pictet: Storm, has been released by Hatje Cantz to accompany the 11th cycle of the Prix Pictet, with an exhibition opening at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, on 26 September.
The book showcases the work of nominated photographers responding to the theme ‘Storm’. Through outstanding images, the publication explores the many dimensions of storms - environmental, social, and metaphorical.
In addition to the photography, the book features newly commissioned essays by Jean-Baptiste Fressoz and Mariana Mazzucato, offering insightful perspectives on the theme. It also includes an interview between Michael Benson and legendary Sir Don McCullin, reflecting on the power of photography in times of upheaval.
