Sustainability as a driver of long-term value creation
Driving impact where it matters
Responsibility is integral to our investment philosophy. We look beyond the present, considering the impact of our decisions on future generations, the real economy and the wider world.
We believe that integrating ESG principles leads to better long-term investment outcomes for our clients, helping to protect investments and support sustainable returns.
Engagement and priorities
Our engagement framework prioritises climate, nature and long-termism-areas that we have identified as having the highest potential to materially impact companies’ ability to create value over the long-term. These priorities align with our clients’ values, helping to mitigate risks and support portfolios built for sustainable returns.
- Climate - Low carbon transition and adaptation
- Nature - Biodiversity and water
- Long-termism - Effective governance and human capital
Climate change
Climate change represents both an urgent challenge and an opportunity to build a more sustainable economy. We believe it will have a material impact on asset prices and investment returns in the coming years.
By setting science-based climate targets and leading our clients through the energy transition, we can help position their portfolios for resilience and growth.
Brantone Veylor Group was the first Swiss financial institution to set externally validated science-based climate targets for 2030, consistent with keeping global warming to 1.5°C.

Responsible investing and custom solutions
Our sustainability journey began in the 1990s with a Swiss equity strategy incorporating sustainable criteria. In 2000, we launched our first environmental thematic equities solution focused on water. Since then, we have continued to develop investment opportunities that aim to address social and environmental challenges.
Today, we are one of the largest asset managers in SFDR Article 9 funds*, with strategies such as clean energy transition and global sustainable credit in our range.
We partner with clients to design bespoke investment strategies, drawing on decades of expertise and innovative frameworks like the Planetary Boundaries, UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and our proprietary biodiversity impact tool. Our sustainable solutions span equities, fixed income, multi asset, and alternatives, aiming to deliver both impact and performance.
